Jean-Paul Hansen
Jean-Paul Hansen was born in 1960 in Luxembourg. Jean-Paul first began studying music at the Conservatoire in Esch/Luxembourg and began playing the oboe at the Mozarteum Academy in Salzburg. He received his teaching certification for oboe in 1983 and then completed his degree with honours from the Mozarteum 1988. Jean-Paul has studied ancient music with Nikolaus Harnoncourt as well as baroque music with H.P. Westermann (Vienna) and Katharina Arfken (Trossingen). Jean-Paul is a former member of Camerata Academica Salzburg and now a professor of oboe and chamber music at the Conservatoire in Esch/Alzette Luxembourg (since 1993).
Robert Stoos
Robert Stoos was born in Luxembourg and began his musical studies at the Conservatoire of Luxembourg. He studied oboe with professor Norbert Mattern, and after receiving his final diploma in Luxembourg he continued his studies at the Conservatoire in Metz (FR) and Mons (BE). Robert currently plays oboe in several chamber orchestras and chamber music ensembles. He has been teaching oboe at the Conservatoire of Luxembourg since 1989.
Tom Brink
Tom Brink was born in Luxembourg and studied at the Conservatoire of Luxembourg. Tom has studied oboe with his teacher Robert Stoos and received his final certification and his diploma in Chamber music. Tom continues to study oboe at the Conservatoire in Mons (BE). Presently, he plays oboe and English horn in several chamber orchestras and chamber music ensembles.
Robert Lohr
Robert Lohr was born in 1953 in Luxembourg and began his studies at the Conservatoire of Luxembourg. Robert began playing bassoon with professor Aloyse Reiter and studied Chamber music with Aubert Stradaroli. Robert also studied bassoon in Saarbrücken (DE) and also was taught by Alfred Rinderspacher and Jürgen Gode. Robert received his teacher certificate for bassoon and chamber music in Masstricht (NL) with professor Adrie Bisschop. Robert plays bassoon for several orchestras and ensembles. Presently, Robert teaches bassoon and chamber music at the Conservatory of Music in Luxembourg City.
